Framed, with a Charles Scott Gallery Letter of Authenticity

Born in Yokohama, Japan in 1918, Ginger Osgood (1918-2000, American) and her husband, R. Freeman Worthley, helped develop the art form known as serigraphy.  Osgoood’s work is represented in print collections at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; Davison Art Center at Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT; the Philadelphia Museum of Art, PA; and others.

This is a rare gorgeous, large Serigraph in colors on wove paper.
It is an edition of 30, 34-1/2 x 20-1/4 inches (87.6 x 51.4 cm) (sight)Signed, numbered, and titled in pencil along lower edge

CONDITION:  Mild light and time staining to the sheet. Not examined out of frame. Matted and framed under acrylic.  Framed Dimensions 41.25 X 27 Inches.  We will include a Charles Scott Gallery Letter of Authenticity.

PROVENANCE: Purchased via Heritage Auctions, ex Amon Carter Museum of American Art, sold at Heritage to fund future museum acquisitions.
